VINTAGE BUTTERMILK CHURNER

This vintage and interesting object is a buttermilk churner used to make buttermilk from fresh curd. It is believed to be from Kerala. This beautifully carved wooden churner made of dark wood must have been used in traditional kitchens in Kerala to churn curd into refreshing butter milk. 

This nicely carved wooden traditional buttermilk churner has been carved out of a single block of wood.

This will make a very interesting addition to your kitchen or living room décor.
